I went to a wedding this weekend of a friend and let me just say I have never been to a wedding where the bride and groom were so considerate of their guests.
It was a 6:30 ceremony in the Japanese Gardens, so you can imagine it was quite warm. The attire was casual - not even the groomsmen or minister wore ties. They had water for everyone to drink during the ceremony. The bridesmaids picked their own dresses (and all looked cute and appropriate) and the bride's brother served as her MOH. Immediately after the ceremony they had iced down bottle dr. pepper, water, and Izzes. The buffet opened and they served burgers and sweet potato fries!! MMM, yummy!! On the RSVP cards there was a place to put a song request for the reception - so they took all the requests and made an awesome wedding soundtrack that played all night. Cupcakes and brownies instead of cakes, which were amazing. There were quarters in a bowl so you could get fish food and feed the fish. And as we left there was a table with the guests gifts - it was a note saying instead of gifts a donation had been made to Oxfam America. It honestly was so precious and sweet!
