Doctor Day

So we are supposed to go in for 2 Well Child visits tomorrow - well after a few phone calls we went in today for 1 Well Child check and 1 Sick Child check. Not fun. Scout has an ear infection, runny nose, goopy eyes, and a cough. He started antibiotics, he has a little vaporizer in his room, and he got new pajamas so hopefully he is feeling a little better in the morning.
Ryder on the other hand - has gained 3 ounces, his billy reuben (jaundice) has gone down, and his circumcision and umbilical cord look good. He definitely showed off how healthy his lungs are.
It was a little rowdy in the exam room - until Super Dad showed up and took Scout outside to play which was a HUGE help! Dwight even took Scout back to our house for a nap and to feed the dog (his favorite chore).
So we have made it through the first doctors visit with 2 boys!
On a side note - I love my pediatrician. We were waiting on some test results for Ryder and it is 8:30 and she just called me from home to let me know that everything was okay. Does it get any better than that? I love Dr. Saksena!

So let me just say that it cracks me up how you will often start a post with the word "So".

Glad you like your ped - that makes all difference!

Sorry that Scout is sick. I think he picked a bad time to get sick! Don't forget to ask for help when you need it!

Congrats on getting thru the dr's appt with your sanity still intact!

So glad this time around is a different story with Doc. Those little exam rooms can shrink to claustrophobic proportions when you're in there with two kids!

We were so happy with her too! She called us the same evening as our appointment even though her nurses had called us twice to check in on us and make sure our antibiotic dosages were right for Nathan and his weight! I give her two thumbs up! :) Thanks for the recommendation and I'm so glad that everything went well and you have two beautiful boys now! I know you may not be venturing out too much before we leave, but if you do, it will be great to see you and your boys :)

It gets easier with 2, hang in there! Those little boys will be the best of friends before long, just wait until they gang up on you! Can't wait to meet the little guy!

PS: All I want for Christmas are more Ryder pictures!
