I bring good tidings of great joy!
OK maybe not great joy but the baby bedding was able to be fixed!!! I took the bumper to the lady that made Aly's baby bedding. She pulled out the batting, reshaped and reformed it and voila! a fluffy bumper!!! As soon as the room is painted I will post pictures.
